retired math teacher with 21 years experience in the classroom, and 8 years supervising other math teachers. UT graduate with a Masters in Education and an additional BS in Geology from Ft Lewis College in Colorado.
Experience
I have been tutoring students in the Lakeway area ever since I retired 7 years ago from Austin ISD. I am registered as a tutor with Lake Travis ISD counselors, and am on the parent's access website. I can also tutor most sciences and English--and have experience in those areas. Tutoring is the purest form of teaching. My first pupil was my Mom, who was having trouble with statistics when she was becoming a nurse. I have taught every math class from 6th grade thru Trigonometry, plus Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and English. I also coached tennis for 15 years.
